<p>norman, I feel your pain. Debt of that magnitude is anathema, especially in a performing arts discipline. NYU historically is stingey with aid, regardless of discipline. The Tisch program is one of the very top, yet you and d have to really divorce the emotion and run the numbers.</p>

<p>Just wanted to tell you that I feel your pain. I also have a D who has dreamed all her life of going to NYU, but now that she’s in, we are wondering how to afford it. She also seems hellbent on taking out loans if that’s what it takes. I am hoping that as it sinks in she’ll come to her senses about this.</p>
