Hello. My junior daughter is very interested in NYU-thinking of applying ED-but she does not know what she wants to study. It seems like many prospective students know what they want to major in. Since you need to apply to a certain school at NYU, I don’t know the best path. Can anyone give me advice for an undecided student. Thanks.
Most undecided students apply to the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS). Tisch is for the arts (film, dance, theatre) as is a lot of Steinhardt (music, studio art). Additionally Steinhardt offers education, applied psych and nutrition. Stern is their business school. Tandon for engineering. Gallatin allows you to create your own major. Without losing all majors, everything else is pretty much in CAS.
Before she makes a commitment for ED, your D should really explore all the schools and programs NYU offers.
