NYU for those of us who are regular decision

tond and citybound— im in the same damn boat as the two of you. This is my theory and some others agree. If you notice the stats of the kids who were accepted to CAS there is scarcely anyone with lower than a 3.8 and 2000+. I think that this maybe NYU trying to entice the kids on the upper stratification of the accepted pool in an attempt to get them to attend nyu, thus raising the standard for NYU. It is a pretty dick move if it is in fact what they are doing. Im just praying for admission, time will tell though.

<p>I don’t think 3.8+ and 2000 is high for NYU at all. That’s below average for CAS. And way below average for Stern. The average stats for LSP is 3.8 and 1300 out of 1600.</p>

<p>Im an international student from Ireland and applied to CAS. do you think if i had been accepted i would have received a letter? or are they only sent to people residing in America?</p>
