i am getting a mixed message, can you or can you not smoke in dorms
and can you smoke in the parks
i heard there TNT units everywhere in washinton square now
so gay

You can smoke in central park. Cops there will literally walk by you, smile, and keep walking.

really nothing is a problem at nyu as long as you are smart about it. nothing is super strict, although i guess there might be a really stern R.A. or two around the freshman dorms

zoolander: it was an informal poll, so I would take it with a grain of salt. I mean, you would probably have to go back in time to a hippie commune for that figure to be actually true...

You can't smoke -anything- in the dorms, legal or not.

Would you actually get busted for it? Who knows?

Some Chinese kid who graduated from my school last year and is a GSP student this year at NYU apparently got kicked out of his dorm during the first WEEK for "bringing in too much pot"...not sure if it's a quantity issue haha or if it's absolute...

so where do you guys smoke cigars and blunts

Ha! You sound like your a druggie yourself!

uh well yeah I think that's why he's asking about where he can smoke. lol.

Honestly, when I first came I thought it would be a huge problem. But like, it's not noticeable unless you make yourself notice it. Like.. I don't care. Except it really is annoying when you're walking behind someone and they smoke in your face so you pass them and then the same thing happens for the next 30 people too...

zoolander don't worry... there will be enough opportunities and places to smoke them blunts -- you're gonna be in the city, it'll just happen

Aren't there CHOICES communities, or substance free floors, in most freshman dorms? How effective are they?
