NYU Help

Hi! I've been looking for some help on college in general, and I'm glad I found this site. I have a couple of questions, if you don't mind.

First off, I'm an American Citizen who currently doesn't live in the States, I left when I was in 4th grade of Elementary, so it's been quite the time. I was wondering if I can still apply for federal grants as a US citizen, even though I don't live in the US. After some talk with my parents, we've decided on the possibility of me going back to the states to do my Senior year there, probably with some relatives. I'm currently a Junior, so I have to decide this year on what to do. Does finishing high school over there open any more scholarship options than if I finish high school where I currently live? If so, will I be able to validate my subjects and do my Senior year, or will I have to do redo some years of high school again? And what are the probabilities of getting scholarships from NYU? I need a near full scholarship, if not full, to go study over there. I plan on studying Finances, and though I've heard any college in NY is good for Finances, I really want to go to NYU. After checking all the available universities, I just fell in love with NYU because of its programs, location, services and learning environment.

Would really appreciate any help, and thanks in advance for your time!

If you require a full scholarship in order to attend NYU don’t plan on attending NYU. Even for extremely needy students they don’t really offer full scholarships. As a citizen you’d be eligible for government financed loans, which will likely form the bulk of your aid package.

Well, I don’t need the full scholarship, but it’d sure help. We’d manage with 10k-15k probably. Either way, should moving to the States make my applying to any college easier?
