hey guys! do you guys know if fafsa/tap are included in the 80% tuition provided by nyu heop??? please let me know asap

Hey guys, I was accepted to NYU Stern through HEOP exactly ten days ago but I still have not received my financial aid package! I was wondering is anyone in the same situation as me?

Well i got my acceptance letter to stern in march, but i applied early decision. they cover 80% of your costs and in the financial statement they include: Tap, heop scholarship, work study, loans, and heop stipend. i hope you guys get your letters soon.

oh okay, thanks! and is that all included in the 80%?

I’m just going to say right now that they tell you they cover 80% until you get there. Then it’s more like 99%. Anyone accepted into NYU HEOP: This is your opportunity of a lifetime. You need to be proud and you need to take advantage of this. This is primarily the same way the Obamas made it through school; you’re going to too. Congratulations! Prove the admissions counselor that accepted you right. You have something that this university needs.

thank you! that’s good news! also, what do you mean by “the same way the Obamas made it”? just curious lol but thanks so much for the encouragement!

NYUKID is right. They gave me $45,075 with no loan.

Hey guys, it’s been a while since my last post. Anyhow, congratulations on all the acceptances! It’s a competitive program, so you should all feel proud.

On another note, I won’t be attending Baruch College like I said in a previous post. I just received an acceptance for Stony Brook’s EOP program! I’m actually in awe right now, mainly because I was waitlisted! I might try to transfer to NYU’s program in the future, but now I’ve got a pretty sweet deal. Wish all of you best of luck!
