<p>So I just checked my NYU Albert Account Summary and it says I have $6,743 bill for housing. </p>

<p>I'm wondering if this is for the whole year or just for the fall semester?</p>

<p>I am also kind of worried since I signed up for Brittany, Rubin, and Hayden as my first three choices and opted for Low Cost Housing. The price they gave me doesn't match up with any of the costs for my first three dorm choices and I'm 99% sure that I got one of those as I am an ED student.</p>

<p>I'm freaking out right now since I expected to get low cost housing and if the price in my account summary is correct and is only for the fall semester I would be paying almost 13,500 for housing for the whole year which is way too much.</p>

<p>Does anybody know if this price is preliminary or if it can change? Also, would I be able to switch to a cheaper dorm later on?</p>

<p>everyone i’ve talked to from NYU has that same exact charge. i feel like they will adjust the charge later on. my first two choices are supposed to come out to 11something/yr.</p>
