<p>No they don't, their reason is that they receive waaaay too many applications lol it's true.</p>
<p>NYU only gives interviews to those applying to Tisch School of the Arts, and those are artistic reviews.</p>

<p>you're applying to a program in which you have to audition.
you're applying to a NY state scholarship (HEOP).</p>

<p>wow really? i assumed april 1 would be the absolute latest but that it would probably be mid- or late-march...</p>
<p>NYU's website says they will be mailing out results the last week of April and you should receive them on or about April 1st. Some applicants will receive an invitation to an open house event prior to that which is the same as an acceptance although their actual acceptance letter may come later.</p>
<p>No interviews for NYU unless you’re applying for one of their special programs.</p>
