NYU Law/Business Programs

I applied for NYU CAS (College of Arts and Sciences) for undergrad and I would like to try for their law/business program after my undergrad years. I've heard that their Law program only accepts 2% of applicants!!! Is this true? If their law/business school really has EXTREMELY low acceptance rates, this may affect my decision to attend NYU.

Is anyone else accepted into CAS undergrad also going to apply for Law/Business/Med school later?

Yeah, I will probably attend CAS and am considering a career in law or business...But I think Columbia would be my first choice (though NYU is great too). I have heard, though, that colleges don't like to accept too many of their undergraduates to their graduate programs because they like more diversity.

NYU undergrad is a top feeder to both NYU Law and Business.

Also, NYU's med school acceptance rate is around 86% (twice the national average) and for those with GPA's over 3.5, its close to 100%

does that mean it has a bad medical program?

So attending NYU undergrad allows you a higher chance of getting in to the NYU Law School?

Pretty much all graduate schools unofficially favor their own undergraduates, at least to a slight extent (this would also be much more true for private schools than state schools).

Matt, I was talking about NYU undergrads applying to med. school, not NYU's medical school.
