So I am a rising senior and will be applying to NYU. I was just wondering what are my chances?
3.6 gpa
2250 SATs
SAT II: 780 and 720
EC’s: Owner of an online business that donates profit to an impoverished school in India, Writer (own a personal blog) , Vegan app maker, own a vegan website (dedicated to vegan recipes) , president of an animal rights club and vice president of relay for life and mock trial , winner of several creative writing programs ( won 1200$ in total ) , over 150+ volunteer hours , State qualifier for social studies UIL ( self studied) , dog walking (summer 2013-present ) , teach my brother math and english , internship at LF usa for a whole summer ( New York ) and currently working in a business company downtown.
I also interned under a speech therapist in India for my summer and winter break during 9th grade

I think that your circumstances are definitely unique and will be understood. I commend you on your achievement; I am very impressed! I think that you’ll get in if you nail the essays. Good luck!

@ilovenyb One does not “major” in law. Law school is post-baccalaureate. For undergraduate work, one can major in anything at all. The key requirements for law school are a strong GPA and a strong performance on the LSAT.
@skieurope so if I were to apply to NYU, and I am planning to go in the law field, what should I be applying to?

Do you/your family have the $70K/year that NYU costs? There will be little financial aid.
