NYU law

I've just been accepted to NYU as in undergrad and I plan to major in French and Linguistics. Assuming I do quite well and I study abroad my junior or senior year. Is it advisable to take a year or two off to work and travel before law school or should I do in right after graduation? Would time off hurt my chances at a Tier 1 Law School like NYU? Any responses would be greatly appreciated.

Time off won't hurt your chances. I took a year off between college and law school to travel and work, and have never regretted it.
