i think you're in, although remember to take another SAT subject test because you can only choose one math.

bump...........

bump...............

I think you should take the ACT's again or maybe the SATs. Those are stats that will make NYU a reach school for you. Also, if you can get your gpa to around say 3.5-3.55 you stand a much better chance in acceptance.

Just raise your ACT score up! I have a question: what did you get in all of the sections on the ACT? If you did really well on the math section, then (I think) it isn't hard to raise the other sections if you just learn how to pace yourself.

URM doesn't help quite as much at NYU as at other schools because they have so many URM and international applicants relatively speaking. For this reason I think that NYU is still a slight reach for you unless those essays really are outstanding.

Also, I agree with the other poster--you still need a second SAT II (they will not count your Math I score)--and you should retake ACT to boost the score to a 27 or 28 minimum (or take the SAT instead).

Good luck.

I don't have a chance to take the ACT/SAT anymore. However, I have another World History subject test which isn't too good.

I have to admit, my essays are spectacular.

I got rejected with a 28 ACT and I'm the founder of a club in my school

Do you have a hook?

I applied ED, and I had an amazing essay that got outstanding reviews from everyone who read it. I'm also a Group Leader of another organization and Secretary for another club.
I don't know if this is a hook, but I'm a first generation American student applying to college in my family.

I got rejected ED with a 32 (equivalent) and I did kind of have a hook.

My grades were pretty low though.

Being African American will help though, because unless NYU is racist, which I don't think they are, they are probably trying to get admit more black students this year, because last year their percentage was very low.

bump..................
