<p>Please know that when an applicant has asked us to do so in their application materials, we consider candidates for admission to each of our campuses in NYU's global network, which includes our portal campuses in New York, Abu Dhabi and Shanghai as well as global academic centers in Florence, London, and Paris. Your offer of admission is extended with the expectation that you will spend your freshman year in Florence.</p>
<p>Does this mean i must spend my freshman year in Florence ? Or can I still do something to go attend the campus in NY.</p>
<p>Yeah I’m 99% sure that means you’re supposed to go to Florence. You must have indicated you’d be up for that on your application. You might be able to beg off if it’s really a problem. </p>
