<p>(in terms of getting into NYU)</p>

<p>good things:
your extracurricular activities are great
the levels of classes you took are great
Your SAT score is perfect
Your ACT score is good (if you retake it, you should really try to push it to at least a 29,
since NYU likes 29-31)</p>

<p>Bad things:
Your GPA is incredibly low,
the AVG student who gets accepted into NYU has a 3.65</p>

<p>So you should really try to bump your GPA up, and your ACT score.</p>

<p>I agree with setgoals about the GPA, but as for ACT I dont think its that big of a deal. I took it twice, and my highest was a 28, and my SAT scores werent amazing either (they werent awful, but not amazing). My GPA was around a 3.7 and I had a lot of after school stuff, which is probably a big factor in why I got into LSP.</p>

<p>Sweet investigating dude. Seriously I am seeing what my chances will be with raised ACT scores because putting a 24 here would be pointless since my main goal is a 27.</p>

<p>Maybe instead of interrogating me you could answer the question.</p>

<p>No problem. If it makes you feel better, I got into LSP with no honors classes and only 4 APs. Make sure you write a really good essay and get recommendations from the teachers who really know you.</p>
