NYU LSP?

So I heard you can know apply directly to LSP (I just found out, I am not sure when this started happening but you couldn’t do it when my brother was applying) what are the sort of stats (GPA/Test Scores) that you need to get in if you plan on applying ED?

yes, you can apply directly to LSP and you have been able to do so for at least the past 3-4 years, I think. Not sure when it started though. LSP tends to be more forgiving with GPA and test scores, a lot of accepted LSP students have a high GPA but low test scores or vice versa (usually not low for both though; it’s still nyu after all) and for the past few years, it seems that people have been getting accepted with around a 3.4-3.7 unweighted gpa and test scores anywhere between 27-34 ACT or 1900-2200 SAT. It’s a bit unpredictable and spotty, to be honest, and people don’t always apply directly to the program and sometimes they’re not sure why they got placed there. Look through past decision threads to get a better idea of accepted stats.

@koreanstudent Can you look at my chance thread? What are my chances for LSP? @Sterny16 from what i’ve been reading koreanstudent is correct.

I thought LSP was something that everyone was considered for and you didn’t have to apply directly

@Farahana They updated it, you can know apply directly.

Ohhh man I should’ve applied
