Is anyone on this board headed to NYU for an MA in IR (politics) ? I'm trying to find more information regarding the program and how it compares to others. The website doesn't have all that much info for some reason... I would also love to hear from current or former students. Thanks !

The MA in IR is offered through the Political Science Department at NYU.
Here are two links you might find helpful:

[NYU > Politics > M.A. in International Relations](<a href=“Wilf Family Department of Politics”>Wilf Family Department of Politics)
[NYU > A & S > NYU GSAS Application Resource Center](http://gsas.nyu.edu/page/grad.admissionsapplication.html)

You might also want to investigate the MA in Global Affairs offered through the School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS). Here is a link for that program:

[M.S. in Global Affairs | New York University - SCPS](http://www.scps.nyu.edu/areas-of-study/global-affairs/graduate-programs/ms-global-affairs/index.html)

I’ve been admitted to this program as well and am seeking the same information that sann88 is…any current or former students on this forum?

bump eee

Hey, have the same problem. Trying to decide between the Masters of IR in NYU and the Masters in International Affairs offered by the Elliot School at George Washington. Want to be in New York but Washington seems to have a better program. Any advice?

go to GW, no contest.

can someone tell me which is better: NYU GSAS Poli Sci - IR or NYU SCPS Global Affairs?
