Thought it would be helpful if I started a thread on all the mail received from NYU so far, just in case we are missing one, since contacting NYU seems to be difficult with the 37,000+ applications and can't confirm anything specifically.

So far I've gotten the confirmation letter, a pamphlet about FAFSA, and an 'NYU communities' pamphlet as well. Anyone else received anything from NYU recently?

it's times like these that i log on to embark and freak out at every possible wrong thing that could have happened to my application.. nyahehehe..

anyway.. thanks.. i'll def post whatever mail comes in! :)

i havnt received one either....but mayb its cuz i live half way around the world? neway....wen did u guys (those who actually received mails) get em?

Don't worry, I got in ED and after receiving 4 things a week from NYU for 2 years...I sent a check (December 16) and it wasn't until last week that I received ANYTHING even confirming I was an incoming student. (That was a letter saying "keep up the good work aka: don't slack off). If it weren't for the cancelled check I would have been a mess. God forbid there was an error and you've just recalled all of your other acceptances and applications. THey said the housing and NYU e-mail account info comes in March for the ED kids...seems like a big lull

tomahawk - I haven't received a confirmation letter, either. But I received my second piece of mail this week from them today. It's an issue of 'parent news'
