I took Calculus 1 this semester and i was going to take calc II in the fall, but my schedule cant fit...so my option is either calc III or linear algebra...

which class would fit me better or does it really matter? I know calc III is based off of calc I, but do you need calculus for linear algebra?

thanks

uhh, I didn't think you could take calc 3 after calc I... I'm pretty sure calc II is a prereq for calc III. Linear algebra has very little to do (mechanically) with calculus, and only requires calc I as a prereq so I think you would have to take that.

Uhhh...are you a current NYU student or prospective frosh? If you go to NYU, why would you put the question here...just ask your advisor.

From a math major: I'd take Calc III before Linear Alegbra.
