I hav a 4.5 gpa unweighed and im 5 out of 432 kids in a ****ty school, but with a few amazing teachers. I’ve done 2 sports and been in like 10 clubs, but i am dedicated to 2 of them. My essays were good at least for my standards. Im hispanic and i consider myself poor(lol). i am also first generation to go to college. I didnt think i would get in but now that i did, all i can say is that anyone has a chance so never give up. O nd if i do go to nyu i need a roomate who isnt a genius and makes me feel inferior.</p>

<p>ha, i think i’d consider myself normal. i got accepted to tisch and my stats are not the greatest. i have a 3.7 GPA (weighted) and my SAT and ACT scores were not close to what these other kids are posting. just goes to show that they look beyond just numbers and consider all aspects of a prospective student (:</p>

<p>Nope, I didn’t yet and my expectations are low even if my hopes are high. I have really good EC’s like Senior Class Pres, VP of the school’s Choir, Chairperson of Powderpuff, Senior Ambassador…so many more. and great essay/recs. And this is my top choice…so I’ve been breaking down day by day as people get their acceptance letters/emails. My friend was accepted to CAS with an 1860 SAT I, 28 ACT and 3.6 uw GPA.</p>
