Although I’ve heard good things regarding to NE’s Co-op Program and Bentley’s business major, the best school in terms of value and education in the group imho would be Ohio State. Its marketing undergrad program is ranked Top -15 in the nation and academically as a whole, certainly up and coming. The school recently joined Common App and added $50 million to its financial aid offer and with well over 500 OOS students enrolled from New York.

Geographic diversity (Columbus campus, autumn 2011)*

Ohio State enrolls students from every state and territory. States with the highest enrollment:

500+: Pennsylvania, Illinois, New York, California, Michigan

300 – 499: Texas, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia

100 – 299: Florida, Indiana, Georgia, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Utah, Minnesota, Missouri, Arizona, Tennessee, Connecticut

50 – 99: West Virginia, Washington, Colorado, South Carolina, Kansas

NYU does have advantage in terms of location; however, unless you want to major in Finance, the school is simply too pricey to attend imho. Plus, Columbus - the fastest growing city in the midwest is known in the marketing world as the national testing ground for business. GW is certainly more preppy than tOSU in terms of student bodies; however, its business school is not on par with tOSU imho. TOSU undergrad business is currently ranked #14 in the nation on US News, and Fisher College enjoys excellent international reviews & reputation. Last but not least, tOSU has strong ties with China and operates an Oversea Global Office in Shanghai.

Best of Luck & Go Bucks! :)

P.S. Although the number of applications to tOSU will most likely to increase by ~25% due to Common App participation next year, based on your ‘projected’ SAT score & un-weighted GPA, I’d dare to guess that you should still have a good chance for admission. However, my advise would be to apply early!

Hmmm, I reallllly appreciate your opinion because my brother currently goes there for law school and he has been telling me all that for quite sometime now. However it’s nice to hear it from someone else! OSU definitely moved up a few spaces on my list :)

Bump! Any Opinions on the other schools mentioned?

one final bump!
