<p>Does anyone know if I applied for TAP and workstudy last second, like within the last week would it be considered for my financial aid? Also, I emailed them, do you guys think that if I emailed them and asked them this they would deny me cos they find me too much of a hassle to deal with :x Im afraid that if they see I applied for TAP last second my financial aid status is going to go back to “no financial information found” I also submitted my CSS profile after the deadline, do you guys think Im not going to get as much aid if I do get accepted considering all these factors? I mean I did hand in my fafsa on time I just went back and checked the box for work study D:</p>
<p>My status has not changed yet. I was also rejected from a college with very similar admission stats yesterday. Honestly, I am quite surprised I was not admitted.</p>
<p>Just got rejected to UCLA. 
A bit bummed. But NYU is my top choice so I haven’t lost faith… yet. Anyone on the same boat?</p>
<p>My D just got in to UCLA!!! But it’s a back-up to NYU, so we are praying she gets into NYU and gets enough financial aid to go there, but if not, she might be a Bruin! (my husband and I both went to UCLA, but we want her to go to HER dream school, NYU!)</p>
<p>when will the decisions be out?..I saw someone say that they called the office and was told that NYU would release it on 4/1</p>

<p>@loganfox yeah, not a good way to start the day. Me too! + CMU, UT Austin, and Umich. I’m aware that all of them are reaches for me but it’s worth the try. I got into UCSD too. </p>

I’m an international student, and I’m not applying for FA(so…I couldn’t tell if I am accepted or not)! My college(I applied to Stern which I know is super hard) didn’t change Does that mean I have no chance to get into NYU??? I want to go to NYU soooo bad!!! Ahhhh!!!

Yeah I know UCLA is pretty great and I just got wait-listed ( </3 ) so I really need this NYU acceptance. Did you get into UCLA?</p>
<p>Sorry that i know my sentence is making no sense! But I found out that NYU considered lots of people to another college or school recently. And my status hasn’t change for a while which could happened in two cases 1)they are consider me for stern(and likely be accepted?!) 2)they are going to reject me and doesn’t consider me for another school or college. I just want to know that if they can’t offer me the admission to Stern, will they consider me for another college?</p>
<p>^ i think it actually depends on the options you chose when filling out the NYU supplement on the commonapp. As for me, I opted for Stern only. So either I get into Stern or nothing at all.</p>
<p>Do you guys think that getting into BU w/ $40k in financial aid is a good indicator of NYU’s acceptance and aid? Or is it silly to compare the two?</p>

<p>Yeah, I know what you mean. You feel slightly confident like that might be the right one, but then that is not the one everyone else is getting so you get these spazz attacks like what if the one I am getting is not the right one.</p>

<p>Hey guys, do you know whether the FA status change applies for international students too? We aren’t even eligible for FA so perhaps it doesn’t apply? Mine hasn’t changed…</p>
