@aishteru: No, it just means you’re getting evaluated for HEOP.

Did anyone get into NYU Poly instead of their target school? I really thought if I didn’t get into CAS, they’d consider me for Poly…so confused!

I’m getting worried because I haven’t gotten any email. Also, I have no way to check my account due to a freak incident during which about 3 months of my emails were deleted…including that with my I’d number. Does anyone know how I can find that number so I can get into my account? I’m dying here!

@Musictoldme: The account won’t contain your decision anyway, unless you’re Tisch. Packets for accepted students were mailed express today - you should have the acceptance packet by Monday if you got in, and if you still aren’t sure by then, you can call the office and have them tell you the decision on the phone.

@IndigoAudri thank you actually right after I posted that question I got my email and it told me I’d be spending my freshman year in NYC :)

Got accepted! For all of the people that are possibly still obsessing over the “financial aid theory”… Mine DID change to 2014 award access not available… Just throwing it out there. some people were rejected with the change though. All of the people who are waiting, I wish you the best of luck! I was extremely anxious waiting for my decision, I know its not a good feeling, just don’t lose hope and remember, no matter what, you will always have options! :)

Stern applications are gonna triple next year when people see how much money they’re offering…

@collegedreams29: If you want to be considered for Poly you have check it off on your application! Poly has been really hard to get in these days. it’s officially merged with NYU.

Poly are giving nicer package too this year!

Accepted to Stern! Was sent an email, but financial aid is still not accessible. Does that mean I’m not receiving any? : (

Accepted into CAS! I got the really cryptic email where it says that my admission decision in the mail. And it was! THE ACCEPTANCE PACKET IS SO PRETTY~ My financial aid access still hasn’t changed though.

Accepted into Stern as well!!! It’s my dream school, I am still in shock…I thought I had no chance of getting in with my gpa. My financial aid page still says “award access not available” though. @shivshiv, did you already get something from Stern?

Also, seems like lots of people got an email, but I just received the letter in the mail. Does that mean anything?

@pyrasical: I got accepted through email but I haven’t received my letter yet. Most likely the online process just didn’t get to send your email or you might have entered the wrong email address. Either way, it shouldn’t mean anything, that letter is proof enough. Congrats on getting in!

I think they sent everything (e-mail/acceptance package) all at the same time so whatever reaches you first tells you that you’re in and then you just have to wait till everything does actually get to you

@pyrasical: yeah they sent the financial aid info online on Albert

Anyone out there that didn’t hear anything. I applied to CAS.

@fd1995: I did not hear back as of yet.

What are your stats if you don’t mind me asking?

haha. I rather not say. My SAT score wasn’t that great, however, I have a 4.0 unweighted GPA, many EC’s, I have a projected 60 college credits and I’m graduating with a high school diploma in addition to an associates degree in biology… but my SAT isn’t high so I’m very worried =.="

@aishteru I like your name =p

@nyuclassof2017: heh. thanks ^.^
