<p>Well....as far as rankings, NYU will be better. But rankings are skewed. Fordham has AWESOME contacts and internships with all the networks and major print journalism companies. Now the caveat. The world is melting. Pardon the pun. So it would be wise to sort of see how things go...and hold off until April to commit to anyone or anywhere, including majors. I think we get through this mess...but its not going to be a fun 2009 and it may get rough out there.</p>
<p>and don't commit yourself to a major already. You might walk in thinking you want to do one thing, and end up realizing you like something completely different. try to focus on the vibes you get from different colleges. Go somewhere that will really discover who you are and what your about.
forget about rankings. i know someone goes to a very highly ranked school.. and you know what, i'm assigned more classes and much more work than he does. rank does not always equal higher grade of difficulty in academics.</p>
