HI,
Would appreciate it if someone would give some pointers - NYU or Grinnell?

I would have to pay the same in either case, so cost is not a factor.

I like big cities, but I also like big campuses.

I am in for Psychology (probably) as a major.

I am drawn to NYU because of all the opportunities the city presents (media - radio, tv - writing, etc).

Which would look better on a resume?

I got waitlisted at FOUR universities - NU, Wellesley, Haverford and Swarthmore.
Should I accept any waitlist or stick with either NYU or Grinnell?

well, you can't get two more different schools than NYU and Grinnell. My sense is that you'd get a much better education at Grinnell and be part of very tight-knit community. At NYU, getting a good education would be in your hands: It's a big school and you pretty much have to make your own way. The student population at NYU is muchmore diverse. If you applied to Wellesley, Haverford and Swarthmore, you apparently were drawn to small schools. Good luck with your decision.

well, you clearly mention that you like big cities and big campuses then clearly NYU is a better choose for you, esp for your psychology major in a city that is so diverse.
