NYU or MCGILL

Just me in general: I'm not sure what I want to major in, but I hope to go to Medical School one day.

NYU: In the Presidential Honor's Program at CAS
Love the City
Lots of opportunity for travel with NYU's campuses all over the world
I would get to stay in the US (would this make a difference if I'm planning on applying to American medical schools?)

Mcgill: In the Faculty of Arts and Sciences
I'll be getting two degrees
And it costs A LOT less
French speaking region (I'm a franco phile by nature :) )

Help please ><

Basically I'm wondering if the Honors status at NYU is more noteworthy tthan getting into the combined faculty at Mcgill

Also any insight on how difficult these programs are would be absolutely wonderful!
Thanks so much!

McGill!!! NYU is overrated and lacks a cohesive spirit. Being able to live in a two-language city is a great plus. Montreal is very charming. Money counts, too!

NYU is definitely not overrated. In fact, the quality and caliber of its academics is often underplayed.

However, I would suggest McGill here simply because of costs.
