NYU or USC?

yeah under normal circumstances i would have told you to just stay regardless, and if you really like the east coast, intern there or move there after.

it was you wanting to switch out of journalism and into hebrew studies that made me think you might be better off there.

but even through my own experiences NYU does seem to be a little less caring about their students and potential applicants.....not just in financial aid....as i said they lost my supplemental materials after they got them and then backtalked to me over the phone after i got upset about it......thats about when i made my decision to not give them the "pleasure of company".

55,000 applicants is sort of ridiculous. NO ONE gets 55,000 applicants.

I was at the reception at 'SC Sunday, and the Katherine Harrington said that this year they got about 31,500 applicants and only accepted 25%.

US News and World Report DOES rank 'SC as a "Most Selective School", however, which is the ranking schools like Harvard, Stanford, Yale etc get, but obviously 'SC is not on par with those schools. BUT it is still very competitive, much more so than it ever was.

Give 'SC a decade or two decades. Then we'll see how very much more competitive it'll get. ;)
