NYU Poly or FIU?

I started looking into both Universities and I'm already accepted into both. All other things aside, which is most prestigious? I thought NYU Poly was harder to get into but I'm not sure after all the things I've heard about it.

I will be and will only be interested in pursueing a degree in the sciences.

By “prestigious,” do you mean “harder to get into”?

[College Search - Polytechnic Institute of New York University - NYU-Poly - At a Glance](<a href=“College Search - BigFuture | College Board”>College Search - BigFuture | College Board) <–nyu-poly
[College Search - Florida International University - FIU - At a Glance](<a href=“College Search - BigFuture | College Board”>College Search - BigFuture | College Board) <–fiu

they are COMPLETELY different though. like prestige and percentages should have nothing to do with your decision to attend :stuck_out_tongue: FIU has over 25 times the number of undergrads NYU-Poly has. FIU’s less expensive, but if you’re out of state, you’ll probably have to pay most (if not, all) of the tuition because it’s such a large school, whereas Poly usually gives some merit scholarshup. one’s in Brooklyn; the other’s in Florida. ie one has seasons; the other doesnt. this is your decision to make :)

oh and idk what you’ve heard, but Poly rocks (i’m super biased). anddd i’m out.

I’m currently living in Florida. I guess ill go with NYU Poly assuming financial aid has me covered. If not I’ll have to go to FIU.

On another note, does anyone here think majoring in Business Technology Management is not a good idea? I think it looks interesting but I don’t want to be stuck with a degree that won’t get me anywhere.

Here’s the link the the major on NYU poly’s page.
