NYU POLY or NJIT for Bioinformatics

i knw dat Bioinformatics is not a very common field so any fields related will also do.. very confused between the two.. heard good and bad things for both.. please any reviews any opinions will be soo helpful.. have around a week or 10 days to decide.. thanks..

NYU Poly and NJIT are about the same academically. I would say NYU Poly because that’s in New York and should give you a pretty solid education.

true abt new york… comparing the subjects though njit has better options… i get to take a few electives in rutgers too…
i wanna knw how important is the NYU tag in nyu poly… will matter in neway above NJIT???

NYU isn’t known for engineering (because it didn’t have an engineering school until NYU Poly came along) but it should get better in reputation as the years go along.

However if you think NJIT has better options, you should probably go there

NJIT course structure is better than NYU POLY but then again the difference is not that much… if NYU POLY name is more than NJIT then the course wudnt matter that much… also i read that NJIT is a tier 1 school whereas NYU POLY is tier 3… wat r these tiers based upon… do they matter at all?

I wouldn’t worry about the tiers too much, if the course difference isn’t too much (and you don’t care), I would say go to NYU Poly.

alryt… thank u soo much for ur help… :D
