NYU Precollege Chances?

I’m planning on applying to the NYU precollege program and I am aware that it is a way for them to make money, but after reading that it was “highly selective” on their website I am a little afraid I will not be accepted because I received 2 bad grades this semester.

I am currently a sophomore with 3.8 unweighted GPA

I received a 1210 out of 1520 on the PSAT, which I am not sure if they even look at

Freshman year-
Civ/Econ Honors- 100
Drafting- 94
English 1 Honors- 95
Health/PE- 96
Biology Honors- 93
Math 2 Honors- 93
Earth/Env Honors- 94
Biomedical Technology (elective)- 99

Sophomore Year (First sem.)
Chemistry honors- 93
AP World History- 85
Pre-Calc Honors- 88
French 3 Honors- 90
(I know I messed up)
This semester, I am currently taking
AP World, AP Environmental Science, English 2 Honors, Psychology honors online, French 4 honors online

I will not need financial aid, which I’m sure will help

What are my chances? Am I over worrying?

Hi! I attended NYU Precollege this past summer as a rising junior. Your grades aren’t bad at all, so honestly I don’t think you have anything to worry about. I had an 80 in Honors Chemistry when I was admitted, but otherwise similar stats to your’s.
Regarding your question about the PSAT, they don’t look at it and there isn’t even a place to submit it.
And about your lack of need for financial aid, it won’t affect the admissions decision at all. Most of the students attending didn’t even bother applying for financial aid (most were very wealthy) so you’ll probably just be thrown in with the main pool of applicants in that regard.
I heard through email that I was accepted just about a week after I applied. Good luck! I think your chances are great
