I have been accepted to both NYU and BC, but I am having an incredibly hard time picking between the two. Some factors that I am considering are: quality of premed program, quality of advisors, the community, social life, and location.

If you have any information regarding these factors, please tell me

Do you want to live in the city and have no campus and a undergrad experience lacking any of the typical undergrad experiences like Saturday football games etc?

If the answer is yes, NYU.

If you want to go to school somewhere with a REAL (and very nice) campus and be able to enjoy other activities like big time football and basketball in a beautiful suburb of Boston close enough that you can enjoy all that the city offers as well, go to BC.

They are SO different and really as I and others have said, what happens AFTER classes end can really determine your happiness and ultimately your success.

Med school admission will solely on how successfully you perform in the classroom, on the MCAT and what your ECs look like; which of these two schools you attend will be a wash to the admissions people.

In which environment can you best see yourself and where do you think you would be happiest? Your academic success will be heavily influenced by your state of mind and happiness. Academically they are going to look the same on a transcript the only variable is your success level at either. Go with the one that you think will give you the best quality of life experience and the academics should follow.
