<p>I got my e-mail a little over an hour ago!!! I am honestly ecstatic right now! Was not expecting to receive any e-mail from NYU today 
“On behalf of the admissions committee, it is my honor and privilege to share with you that you have been admitted to the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development at New York University. Congratulations! I could not be more excited to welcome you to NYU.”</p>
<p>Yes it was an email saying that I was rejected from stern but they told me they want me to release my application to nyu poly, but as well all know it’s not the same. Pretty upset really, I mean my sats were 1920 nothing spectacular, but nyu is supposed to have a reputation of looking at the student as a whole and I feel like we have been short changed</p>
<p>msgsmart: were you “considered” for CAS but “selected” for LSP too? They want mee to go to London! Say what?
& also, I was looking at info from LSP freshman and apparently there’s a rigid core that may inhibit getting the major you want in 4 yrs…
Anybody else know more?</p>

<p>I’d take that at face value: if you accept your offer of admission, then you have to spend your freshman year at NYU Paris. Is that a deal-breaker?</p>
<p>I’ve been praying these past few nights for a pleasant surprise. I hope CAS releases their decisions soon via e-mail, I honestly can’t wait any longer. I am at the point of having a nervous breakdown :s</p>

<p>mgsmart: I personally think I will most likely forget about NYU. I do not want to take the classes they force on me for 2 years with only three classes I get to choose, and I don’t think it’s fair to send me away to London unless they plan on giving me full tuition.
I’ll probably call tomorrow for the heck of it, but I’m guessing that’s that.</p>

<p>Applied to Tisch, drama. No e-mail, no Albert update…</p>
<p>My friends dad is the dean and said there was a problem earlier, but she doesnt think that they are doing all acceptances than all rejections.</p>
<p>Nothing for me yet…pretty much have given up hope…CAS</p>
