NYU Regular Decision Date?

I am really confused right now. Many people at my school have been accepted or rejected from NYU this week. I don't understand when we are actually supposed to find out when we have been accepted. Is it EDII? Or is there some other option? Because somebody claims to have been accepted to "NYU's drama program" and I don't know if that means Tisch or just a CAS Drama Major.

Could anyone please clear up for me when the regular decision date actually is? Especially for NYU Tisch, which I am applying to.

i guess it is like every other colleges, that is to say : March the 30th at 5PM …

They probably applied EDII; EDII candidates knew their decision in mid February. Regular decision candidates will know their decision by the end of March.

If they already know, they applied EDII.
And CAS doesn’t have a drama. Only Tisch has drama.

EDII notifications were sent out almost two weeks ago.

If they have been notified recently (within the past two or three days), then it is RD LSP notifications.

i know that a lot of people who applied RD and who got moved into/chosen for LSP got their notifications this week or last week.
my friend goes to tisch now and i believe she found out about mid-march last year. i’d say like between the 10th and 20th.

the decision date for regular applicants is april 1

They did say it was April 1 last year as well, as they note on the page, and it came out seven days earlier.
