<p>Why doesn't it exist? I think NYU is probably the only big university without it. It would definitely help a lot of people afford to go to the school.</p>
<p>No lots of schools don't have it...Harvard, Yale, Columbia and many others included. Its mostly the selective privates that don't have it...the ROTCs were stopped as a means of protest during the Vietnam War (kind of stupid if you ask me....I'd reinstate these programs). However, NYU students can still do ROTC at Fordham if they so choose.</p>
<p>So can you still be awarded a ROTC scholarship? I doubt they would give you full tuition like most other schools, but anything to assuage the 42k.</p>

<p>NYU also has Air Force ROTC if you want that, but I don't think Navy ROTC is an option.</p>
