<p>I'm considering applying to NYU as a transfer applicant. I am interested in the College of Arts and Sciences and Gallatin. </p>
<p>What is the popularity of these schools within NYU and do they have a good reputation? Generally, what is the order (from most to least) of selectivity of the schools?</p>

<p>Stern's generally considerd the hardest school to get into.</p>
<p>Then Tisch, then CAS, then Steinhardt/Gallatin, and on and on.</p>
<p>So I have a better chance if I apply econ for Cas as opposed to Econ for Stern?</p>
<p>Tisch Stern Gallatin CAS Nursing/Steinhart.</p>
<p>Gallatin is the most popular school, because of everyone who transfers (internally/externally) into it, the class goes from about 190 people to over 400 by graduation.</p>
