I’m so psyched! I just accepted my admission offer. I’m official going to NYUSH next year:) I can’t wait to meet some of you guys in a few weeks.

@thawowtso did you get accepted to stern?

@vintagerosery Im sorry you probably already told us this, but where are you from again? And congrats!!! I cant wait to see you!

@bowtiesrcool When I got my acceptance, It was just an email saying I was accepted to NYUSH nothing about Stern. I believed they changed my first choice from Stern to NYUSH after my interview when I told them I’d rather go to NYUSH and so I will never know about whether I would have been accepted to Stern.

I had my interview about a week ago. I think it went well but who really knows! I have been taking Chinese since the 7th grade, and my interviewer brought this up. Do you think taking Chinese will help me get accepted to NYU Shanghai? I really want to go! For anyone who has been accepted, do you speak any Chinese?

Also, good luck everyone with interviews!! I was told during my interview we would find out about mid to late March!

I’m from new Jersey just outside nyc. I have been studying Chinese for 5 years (8th -present), and I studied abroad twice in China. I think having a background in Chinese and China will help you out a lot because they want people who show a big interest in Shanghai. Good luck:)

Oh! I remember now xD There was a EDI girl accepted from New Jersey as well, but she was also Ukranian (I think… but she also spoke russian)

When are you going to visit? I’m leaving on the 20th…

And I think that showing an interest in China, or atleast studying abroad, is vital. Even though I don’t speak a lick of Chinese (my school cancelled its program due to budget cuts- thanks Texas) nor do I have any extracurricular that relate to China, I did write my Common App essay about my obsession with what China is becoming and I love reading books about China as an emerging market. It really intrigues me XD Its not nearly as good as yours but its something :)

I’ve noticed that NYUSH is probably gonna keep NYUNY’s tradition of a totally skewed male/female ratio. It sucks for us girls :/

“I’ve noticed that NYUSH is probably gonna keep NYUNY’s tradition of a totally skewed male/female ratio. It sucks for us girls :/”

^^ not a problem for me :D

hahah between the Chinese girls, international girls, and low competition NYUSH is gonna be a playas paradise!

Damn, you guys have access to Shanghai women, freaking jealous :p.

^^^ point made :P

Hahaha Shanghai will be so amazing! _

ahh i see we got the real reason all the boys are coming to NYUSH! :P

Don’t judge us… hahahaha I didn’t really think about NYUSHANGHAI that way… hahahaha

guys, my FA status changed today omg can’t even explain how happy i am! i was interviewed on march 7th and i thought, dang, they’re fast :p

but i’m not sure if this one’s for NYUSH though! since i applied to Stern too. but well, all goes well either way :)

My FA status changed too!!! I’m SO HAPPY! :D

Is this basically guaranteed admission now?

Pretty sure it’s not for the NYUNY campus as they apparently never received my application for that either. >_>

ok now that people are saying the message should be “award access not available” i’m not quite sure! i think we should wait until april 1st to really find out, but i’m hoping this is a good sign :)

My FA status changed too!! Earlier it said no info available and didn’t show anything else but now it shows a table with aid year 2014 and says no FA info available.

That’s what you guys are talking about when you say ‘change’, right?

To be exact this is what it changed to:

Click the aid year you wish to view

Aid Year Institution Aid Year Description
2014 New York University No financial aid data available.

Yeah, in this past year if it changed to what Horace95 wrote then you were accepted. However, I guess there is no way of knowing which school you were accepted to NYUSH or NYUNY/NYUAD.
I really fear saying that if your FA changed you were accepted, because they may have fixed this glitch, but I really hope that yall were accepted to NYUSH
April 1st is coming up!!!

@thawatso: I really hope that it does mean I’m in! I really wanna go NYUSH and meet you guys over there
Before you were accepted ED yours said this exactly ‘No financial aid data available’ next to 2014?

Only reason I’m asking again is because some people said they saw ‘award access not available’ next to 2014 before getting accepted.
