<p>The short answers for the common app must be under 500 characters. If one of my short answers are 560 characters will it matter?</p>
<p>I don’t believe Common app even lets you go over 500.</p>
<p>I think it lets you, but when you submit the application, it chops off the letters because the space that shows the words you typed are only so big…</p>
