NYU Sophomore taking Questions

What’s the dating scene like? Are there mostly just hook-ups or do some people have real relationships?

bumpppppppppppppppp

Citybound - Applying to CAS for Neuroscience. Wondering about the Honors Program - who gets in and what are the advanatges if you do get in? Thanks.

Chicken: Extracurriculars could be better. I think its going to rely on your SAT/ACT score. If you get a 2100+ or a 31+ you should definitely get in I would say.

Hannah: It is whatever you make it. Right now I am just looking to hook up cause I don’t want anything serious and so are a lot of my friends. A couple of my friends that are girls did get into relationships with guys at NYU but most are in a relationship from high school.

Rmac: Most Honors Programs you won’t get into until Junior year and it depends on your GPA. There are other programs that you can get into that give scholarship merit but NYU will notify you about them during the acceptance.

I’m a freshman at NYU…What topics are covered in Borowsky’s Principles of BiologyII?
is it just the rest of the Campbell book?? Thanks!!

Yeah, it is the rest of the book.

NYU allows EDII applicants to back out of the agreement if they cannot afford it/financial difficulties. Does having younger siblings who are going to go to college in the near future count as “financial difficulties” ?

did you also have Fitch for BioI and Borowsky for Principles of BiologyII?
How did you study for Biology class?
Is Halpin’s ChemII also covering the rest of Silberberg’s textbook?
Thanks!

Hello!

I was wondering how competitive is it to transfer from CAS to Stern

once accepted

do you know anyone who has transferred?

Thank You!

Myxiah: No, that will count for the younger siblings instead. When they apply for college they will put that 1 Sibling (You) are currently in college.

SAT: Yes. I just read the book. I’m not going to lie it is a hard class and I read that book 3 times cause I had it twice in High School. It made a lot of Pre-Med people drop out the first year.

And Halpin’s Chem II covers the rest of Silberberg.

It is very competitive to transfer from CAS to Stern. You have to have a high GPA after Freshman year. I know of one person that did this.
