Has anybody gotten an acceptance from Tandon?
@Qetikobauri in the past, people have gotten acceptances all the way up until the 23rd of December. I’ve heard of people getting accepted in JANUARY too. Don’t worry about a thing.

@Leadelaney I really didn’t like the community at hunter and what i hated the most was the organization of classes. Also, Hunter nursing is a competitive program where they only accept 100 kids a year but they dont make us feel any different. we dont receive priority access to classes so in the end we are fighting with regular kids for classes we needed to take.
@alyssaa96 Oh thank god I’m not alone. This is honestly pissing me off, to be honest. I was talking to my professor about this the other day, he was an admissions counselor at Columbia, he told me to accept another offer and not even give it a second thought. It’s kind of tough to let go, but I trust his judgement over empty promises from NYU counselors.
I think it’s safe to say that anything the admissions office tells us is BS
it’s starting to get me genuinely upset tbh I’m getting tired of this. I’ve been waiting forever, we all have, and it would’ve just been better to release decisions on ACTUAL rolling basis (in order of received application) or just have a general notification date. We have to reply to other schools, and for us that didn’t apply to other schools, we still have to make a schedule and pay for our spring semester soon so.
As an international student, I have not bought my ticket back home for Christmas cuz I don’t know when will I be back to NY next time. (Changing dates cost a lot of money)

Besides NYU, what other schools did you all apply to in addition?
BU and barnard college
Fordham and American
I applied to UMD, George Washington University, Penn State, and NYU. Might apply to georgetown, Columbia, and UC Berkeley for the fall and if I get accepted to those and don’t end up going to NYU, then that is what I might do.
