<p>I was recently accepted to NYU Steinhardt's graduate program for music composition, and would hope to concentrate on film scoring while there. </p>
<p>I'm wondering if anybody has the inside scoop (or outside one, for that matter) on what the department is like: is it organized? Well run? How are the professors? Are the myriad opportunities for film composers as good as they're cracked up to be? </p>
<p>If anyone has any advice it would be much appreciated.</p>
