NYU Stern Chances

Hey guys. I'd really appreciate it if you could chance me at NYU Stern. I'm currently a junior and will be applying this November ED.

GPA: 90 unweighted (translates to 3.6)
SAT: 2310 (770 Verbal 760 Math 780 Writing)
SAT II's: 770 Chemistry 780 Math IIC

AP's: World History, Environmental Science, English Language, English Literature (Senior Year)

Is a lot of weight put on individual classes, because unfortunately I have 2 C's (in Math and Physics) and a D in Math (all in Junior year)?

Extracurriculars and Awards:
-Founder and President of Outdoors Club 3 yrs (did a lot of lobbying and held a community awareness festival that drew about a thousand people, raised roughly $10,000 to fund this)
-An editor for school newspaper 2 yrs
-Did research in biology and the environment for 2 summers- published a research paper
->Won a New York City Science and Engineering Fair Award for this research
-Won a SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry Book Award
-National Honor Society
-I can speak four languages, if that helps

Working Experience:
4 Summers and Saturdays during school at a doctor's office (reception and filing)

I will be applying as a Management and Organizations major.

Please keep in mind that I am applying ED.

Thanks in advance.

Your UW GPA is slightly low(still good) but your SAT scores and ECs are great. Overall I’d say you’re a safe bet for ED. Good Luck.

Well, you look good and your SAT II Mathematics score is very good as well. Let me just warn you Stern is pretty math oriented from what I hear, and the D in your current class might make you reconsider ED Stern. ( Unless if your teacher is a jerk or something)

Thanks guys. Anyone else?

I think you could make NYU stern RD, perhaps you should consider applying to Penn’s Wharton ED, i hear they love ED students. Just make sure to write the extra essays.

You have a good chance at Stern. My friend who had similar stat got in as ED.

Thanks vector, noob. But I seriously doubt i could get into Wharton with my grades.
