Hi,
I have been attending NYU for the past two years, and have recently got accepted to Stern. I have been so sure that this is what I wanted until i started second guessing myself about the school and most importantly, the people there. Can any current students share their experiences with me. Are there a lot of projects/interactions? Is it really hard? To be honest, I am not very smart but I am extremely hard working and that has enabled me to do well.I have taken a couple stern classes before for my minor, so i have a jist of it, but not being a member of the school itself, i was very limited into Financial accounting and managerial accounting.

If you are already an NYU student, why don’t you just go and speak with the professors/ current students rather than posting on a forum? You have access to thousands of undergraduates. Doesn’t make sense asking online where you can’t verify they are real students from NYU.

As long as you understand the basics of finance/accounting, you should be fine transfering into stern. You’ll get further being a hard working student than someone who is smart and slacks as a sternie.

He’s scared give him a break.
