NYU STERN ED1 2020 CHANCES

Your stats are pretty much in line with the last published averages for NYU, not sure why you say they are low. What school within NYU are you wanting to apply to?

^ oh sorry I missed the “Stern” in the subject!

Those extracurriculars look good, however, your stats are in the lower end. I would suggest regular decision for two reasons:

  1. opportunity to retake ACT or submit another test that will place you in a competitive spot
  2. As you are probably taking AP classes right now, this will be an opportunity to raise your GPA that you submit in comparison to the GPA that you have right now, which is in the lower end. Test score statistics matter a lot more than extracurriculars for Stern.

In the end, I think that you’ll have a good shot (absolutely no one is guaranteed) as anyone else as long as you try to improve your scores, and continue with your AP classes to improve your GPA. Good luck!
