NYU Stern ED1 vs ED2 (and other questions)

<p>Hey there, a high school junior here,</p>

<p>I'm just curious if a ED1 (submitted at like november 1st) and ED2 (early january) have different acceptance rates. Which one would be better to apply to?</p>

<p>Also, how do these stats look for chance at Stern ED1/ED2 </p>

<p>3.5 GPA, 3.7 W (10-12 GPA is much higher, like 3.7 GPA, 4.1 W) will freshman yr hurt me too bad?
2150 SAT
8 AP classes done by senior yr
31 ACT</p>

<p>ECs: too lazy to list out, but I have moved areas so I've been in many clubs, I even started a few, I'm an Eagle Scout and I play two varsity sports for all 4 of my years and etc...</p>

<p>Recommendations: QUESTION! What is exactly the format for these? Do teachers literally just write anything, or does NYU have a specific form we have to give to our teachers/counselors?</p>

Having good ECs is important so never be lazy to not list them out ! :D</p>
