<p>Hey guys,
So I have been fortunate enough to get into both NYU Stern and UC Berkeley L&S. At first, I thought paying 50k/yr to attend Berkeley was a good choice. I would have to take substantial loans but thought its programs were worth it. However, soon after, I was fortunate enough to receive an email from NYU Stern saying that I received a merit scholarship for 40k/yr, meaning I would barely pay 30k/yr for Stern allowing me to graduate college debt free as my parents can afford this. Also, I saw that it had a top notch finance program.</p>
<p>So if I studied finance at Stern with a double major with comp sci, would it give me comparable opportunities to studying comp sci at UC Berkeley L&S if I hope to work in either financial services or even tech companies?
Also, campus isn't too big of a worry as I do like NYC, but Cal also has a very beautiful campus.</p>
