NYU Stern --> OCC --> Berkeley Haas

Hey guys, I'll try to keep this short and to the point. I completed my first semester at NYU Stern but due to financial problems ($60k a year is a lot of money), my family and I have decided that it is best to move back home to California and relieve the huge financial burden. Given the fact that I definitely want to work in California post-grad, as well as the similar ranking/prestige/opportunities with Stern, I decided Haas would be the best option to aim for.

As a result, I am back home and enrolled at Orange Coast College for this spring semester. My current plan is to stay here for 1.5 years, given that I already have a semester of coursework from NYU, and apply to Haas this November (entering in Fall 2012). I plan to take as many honors classes as possible, join the honors program, join Phi Theta Kappa, get an internship, the whole shebang. Here's an overview of my plan:

NYU Fall 2010: 16 units (assuming that they transfer over/are accepted by UCs)
+
OCC Spring 2011: 15-19 units
+
OCC Summer 2011: 8 units (only if necessary)
+
OCC Fall 2011: 15-19 units >>> submit UC transfer app in November
+

OCC Spring 2012: 15-19 units

should be well over the required 60 units to transfer into Haas as a junior

Questions:
- Is this plan even possible or am I overlooking some important requirements/policies/etc.?
- I have previously taken Micro and Macro at Irvine Valley College (which I believe is not a "sister" college to OCC), both of which are prerequisites to transfer into Haas. Do these count or will I have to take Micro and Macro at OCC again?
- If I take Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting at OCC, does this cover both courses in Haas' core classes of junior year? In other words, will I have to take them at Haas?
- Does this make me more competitive as a transfer student going "above and beyond" the prerequisites/requirements?
- For those who are enrolled in OCC/have experience at OCC: do I have to take the Math and English placement tests, or can my AP scores exempt me from taking them?

Any other comments/advice/etc. would be appreciated. Thanks!

I forgot to add: Does anyone know where/how I can find out which NYU courses are UC-transferable?
