I got transfer acceptance to both Stern and Northwestern, but I couldn't decide which school should I go to.
If I transfer to Stern, I plan to major in Finance and Economics for Northwestern.
What are the pros and cons for both universities?
Thanks!!

I’d go with Northwestern. I denied an offer from Stern because, honestly, I wasn’t too impressed after researching it a bit more. Northwestern is a top school, a bigger target for BBs, Investment banks etc. Additionally, if you plan on going to Grad school for MBA, keep in mind that the ‘Stern curve’ will dent your GPA from what I’ve heard. Northwestern is also a more conventional college which is a plus since you have your entire life to spend in NYC but only 4 years to spend in a traditional college environment. Good luck with your decision! Honestly, you can’t go wrong with either one. :)

NYU is such a toolish school.
I would go with NU.

NU enough said.

I transferred from NYU. Stern gets respect, but ehhh once you tell people you go to NYU it doesn’t get much respect.

You live in the city and get a lot of internship opportunities etc. but still businesses recruit more from top schools

the stern curve sucks, but its managable. I would pick NU just because of prestige and chicago has internships too.

javakula:northwestern of course!! And I am really wondering how your admission package was sent, by FedEx?

Congrats!!
