hey guys, i am planning to transfer to cornell aem next fall. i was wondering if we HAVE to fulfill the biology requirement for a higher chance of acceptance. Also, what kind of stats do we need?
I am probalby gonna end up with a 3.9 + for the fall semester and i have 2300+ SATs and a 3.87 hs gpa. any suggestions?

What don't you like about Stern?

I would go directly to admissions for that kind of question, you don't wanna rely on random people on an online board. if they get it wrong, you're screwed. Your stats look pretty good.

Stern is awesome, but AEM is the 4th best Business program in the U.S, I think it's more selective/competitive/elite...I guess that's why engrishplz wants to go there. I'm applying to Cornell from NYU too...good luck!

I had the same issue and I sent the admission office an email earlier. They gave me the official lines:
"It is recommended that you complete, or at least in the progress to complete, the courses before you apply"
"Preference will be given to applicants who have fulfilled the requirements."

I dont really think their answers are helpful. I am gonna give a shot to apply without having Bio II tho

People have been accepted without fulfilling the Bio requirement....but they had an otherwise strong application and met all other course requirements.

They do give preference to those who have completed/are completing the requirements. AEM is very competitive. Your numbers look good....but most other successful AEM applicants have good numbers. You need to make sure you stand out in your application.
