I have already made my decision to attend NYU Stern, but I am just curious as to what others would have recommended. Just based on the education I would get (and not the college experience), what would you guys have recommended?

If you’re going into business, I’d say Stern was the better choice.

Stern beats pretty much any school when it comes to business. And yes, I think it’s better than Yale or Harvard. Stern is consistently ranked #3 after HY, but when it comes down to it it’s all about location. What will you learn about business in Cambridge, MA or New Haven, CT or Atlanta, GA that is even comparable to the business world of the sprawling metropolis of NYC?

Stern puts you in line for some of the juiciest and highest-notch internships available in the country, something Emory could never do. Plus, aside from location Stern has a great reputation and a multifaceted education approach to business. So yeah, I would say you made the right choice.

Good Luck and have fun there!

Do you have any other reasons for this than the location? I’d like to convince myself Stern is worth the money.

Also, is Columbia better than Stern, Harvard, or Yale according to your reasoning?

Are you honestly arguing that Stern is better than Wharton?
