<p>You are aware that you can’t get into UC Berkeley’s business school (Haas) until your junior year, aren’t you? And that it requires about a 3.42 GPA or better while at UC Berkeley in order to get accepted. This means that about half or more of those attending the school will not qualify.</p>
<p>At NYU, however, once you are accepted to Stern (as a freshman) you are already in the business school.</p>
<p>Personally, I like living here in northern California, not too far from Berkeley, rather than in the cold of New York City;–but NYU does have the better finance program, and the rules to get into the business program are far more attractive.</p>
