I don't want to start any arguments or anything, but can someone please give me some info on this subject?
Also, I am under the impression that, though both are very selective, Wharton is more so.
Since I was accepted at Stern, do I have a strong shot at Wharton? Thanks.

I got into Stern as well (Business and Political Economy). I’m anxious to hear back from Wharton too, but in my opinion, there is little correlation. We both have a shot to get into wharton, but wharton takes like 11% of applicants, and attracts some of the brightest people in the world, while stern, though still an amazing school takes 18% and doesn’t have nearly the same amount of prestige. As for which school is better. Wharton. no competition.

I am hoping to apply to both Stern and Wharton. My dream is to get into Wharton but realistically it looks like i am going to Stern. So it’s been 2 years…did you guys get into wharton?

There is no comparison. Wharton is the better school, hands down. However, just because you got into Stern, does not necessarily mean you’ll be accepted into Wharton. Wharton is, after all, right up there with Stanford.
